Live T20 Australia v West Indies: Bartlett makes debut as World Cup preparations ramp up

Rovman Powell wins his third toss of the series and opts to bat in brilliant sunshine over in the west. It’s a 4pm start time over there.

Mitchell Marsh confirms his line-up for today, Xavier Bartlett has been given his cap for a T20 debut in place of Josh Hazlewood and Aaron Hardie comes in for Marcus Stoinis. Bartlett receives his debut cap from Stoinis, because at least he’s nearby.

Stoinis has pulled up with a bad back out of the last match and it didn’t fare too well on the flight from Adelaide to Perth, but he’ll be right to tour New Zealand in a few weeks.

Word is we might have a bit of an experimental batting order from the Australians later too.

For the visitors, Kyle Mayers – exciting stuff – comes into their side for Brandon King and Roston Chase replaces Shai Hope.
