After several minutes, the Meta-owned site started working. Earlier, users trying to log in to the WhatsApp web were also faced with an error message saying the service was currently unavailable. Moreover, Instagram, also owned by Meta, was down for several users across the globe beginning around 11.45 pm IST Wednesday.
